The course is a treat. It twists through rock outcrops and along the Atlantic coastline. The native granite serves both as backdrop and hazard and the ocean is not only distractingly beautiful, but the source of seaside breezes which play havoc on those long tee shots. You want length? There are holes over 490m in length! You want tactics? Avoid the rocks and water on a bright Connemara day when the surf is pounding and the spray flies high.
